Programs Offered St. Eugene Cathedral Preschool offers 2, 3 & 5 day a week preschool classes for 3, 4 and 5 year olds. There is an extended care component (PlayCare) for those needing a full day (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) 2, 3 & 5 days per week. Information regarding specific class days and times and the current tuition rates are available by contacting the school. Staff Our teachers are hired based on their professional qualifications, their understanding of developmental theory, their advocacy of our school philosophy and their nurturing love of children. |

Parental Involvement We respect parents as the primary and most important providers of care and nurturing, and believe parents and teachers are partners in children’s care and education. Parent participation is an important part of your child’s school experience. Our parents are very involved in an active Parents Club which holds social events for parents and children. It also facilitates our on-going fundraising activities which greatly benefit our children. The preschool director handles the day-to-day running of the preschool, develops the curricular program, supervises the employees, and deals with the children and their parents. The elementary school handles all the financial aspects of the preschool. The elementary school's business manager supervises the finances of the preschool. Admission into St. Eugene's Cathedral Preschool automotically ensures admission into St. Eugene's Cathedral Elementary School. The preschool is seen as a feeder school to St. Eugene's kindergarten. St. Eugene's Preschool comes under the domain of the Diocese of Santa Rosa. St. Eugene's Cathedral Preschool is licensed by the State Department of Social Services.
