We teach to the total child, stressing attitude, responsibility and study habits. We feel the above characteristics are the keys to success in education. Our students are very self-motivated by junior high. Our graduates go on to attend Cardinal Newman, Ursuline, Montgomery, Maria Carrillo, and Santa Rosa High Schools. Our graduates do very well in high school because they are self-directed learners who know how to manage their time and effort. We follow our graduates' mathematics, English and reading grades into high school, and they do very well with many winning top academic awards. We are also very proud of the leadership of our graduates. Many serve in student body positions and are active in Christian service projects.
Our standardized test scores for our students in grades three through eight are very strong, scoring in the top twenty to thirty percent of the nation. We scored much above the national norm.
We have recently adopted the California State Standards, which are progressive and challenging. We have integrated the California State Standards into our scope and sequences in mathematics, reading, literature, English, social studies and science.
