In an effort to make a Catholic education available to as many parish families as possible, St. Eugene’s School offers tuition assistance. Assistance is given to families that are active members of St. Eugene’s Parish. A family with children in other private schools must also apply for assistance at those schools. Within the group of families submitting the financial aid forms and copies of tax returns by the deadline, assistance is granted entirely on a need basis, constrained by the total amount of funds available. There are no hard and fast income cut-offs. Receiving financial aid in a prior year neither helps nor hurts a family's chances of receiving tuition assistance in the current year.

Tuition assistance is not intended to cover any family's entire tuition; every family will be required to pay something each month. It is school council policy that families not be given more than 50% financial assistance. Also, tuition assistance does not cover fees, the parish commitment, Scrip, the mandatory fundraising contribution or any other obligation to the school.

We offer all parents the opportunity to work yard duty during noon recess for compensation. This is especially important because it not only helps families, but also fills an important need at the school.

St. Eugene ’s Cathedral School in the Diocese of Santa Rosa does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of financial assistance.
