The Diocese of Santa Rosa has a very strict policy regarding all employees and volunteers who have regular contact with the students. These employees and volunteers must be fingerprinted by Livescan under the diocese, complete the safe environment training developed by the diocese, and register on-line through the Diocese of Santa Rosa website. All employees have met these criteria.
Only when all three of these components are complete, can we allow volunteers to work with the children. The following volunteer opportunities would be considered having “regular” contact with students: classroom volunteers, library aides, art docent participants, yard duty workers, computer aides, daycare volunteers, music assistants, health room volunteers, coaches and overnight volunteers for the 4th, 6th and 8th grades.
Directions and forms are available through the links below. Joan Gogas in the school office is in charge of administering this policy, and she can help you fulfill the requirements.
